Eligibility Criteria/Mazagon Dock Jobs 2016
Age Limit: The Candidates minimum age should be 18 years and maximum 33 years.Age relaxation will be given to reserved candidates as per government rules
- Five years for SC/ ST and three years for OBC candidates.
- Ten years for Persons with the disability of General category whereas Fifteen years for SC/ ST and Thirteen years for OBC.
Educational Qualification:
- Fitter: Passed SSC examination conducted by a Board recognised by the Government and also passed the National Apprenticeship Certificate Examination in the trade of Fitter.
- Structural Fabricator: Passed SSC conducted by a Board recognised by the Government and National Apprenticeship Certificate Examination passed in the trade of Structural Fitter / Fabricator.
- Utility Hand(Semi-Skilled): Passed SSC with NAC in any trade and have worked in Shipbuilding industry as Utility Hand for the minimum period of one year.
- Diesel Crane Operator: Passed SSC conducted by a Board recognised by the Government and the National Apprenticeship Certificate Examination in the trade of Diesel Mechanic with valid Heavy Vehicle Driving Licence, one year experience.
Selection Process
The candidates will be selected based on their performance in the written exam and trade test which will be conducted by the organisation.
Pay Scale
- Mistry Grade (IDA-9) category Basic salary will be Rs. 10000/- per month in the first year and Rs. 10100/- in the second year.
- Skilled Gr-I (IDA-5) category salary of Rs. 7500/- per month in the first year and Rs. 7575/- in the second year.
- Semi Skilled Gr-I (IDA-2) category pay scale of Rs. 6000/- per month in the first year and Rs. 6060/- in the second year.
